About Your Donation
Our mission is to relieve the burden of transportation issues
Your Vehicle Donation Makes A Difference
A car donation is an easy way to make a difference in the lives of others. We really need good, operating vehicles, but we take all types of vehicles in working and non-working condition.
Do you have an unused vehicle parked in your driveway, garage, yard or storage space? Perhaps you have a broke down eyesore that has been sitting in your front yard for so long taking up space on your property that it has become part of the landscape. Reclaim your space by donating your unused or broke down vehicle to a good cause, and let your vehicle be repaired, overhauled and given away to single mothers, widows and wives of deployed military in need of safe and reliable transportation. We take all types of vehicles, even boats and motorcycles, in working and non-working condition. Whether it is a car, van, truck, or SUV, God’s Garage invites you to make a difference and put your donation to work by helping us help others.
Where does my donation go?
When you donate a vehicle to God’s Garage you become a part of the movement that is helping provide safe, reliable, quality auto repairs and transportation to single mothers, widows and wives of deployed military in your local community.
Each recipient is thoroughly and carefully examined against a set of criteria. Our volunteer team goes through each application with precision, checking for any red flags. This ensures that your donation will be matched with the right client, who is in need of assistance right now more than ever before.
We also feel it’s important to let you know that not every vehicle is cost-effective to repair. In cases where they aren’t, we use the parts from that vehicle to repair others until we finally dispose of the vehicle as salvage. Salve sale proceeds are used to purchase more parts to repair even more vehicles. On average, each salvage sale proceeds repair 2-4 other vehicles!
The best part is that your donation offers more than reliable transportation to those in need. It empowers and inspires women and gives them an independence that was lost without having a working vehicle to take care of basic daily needs.
Our organization has given away over 300 automobiles and provided nearly 200 vehicle repairs. The smile on a recipient’s face is priceless. The joy that warms the hearts of our volunteers is infectious, and you get to be a part of that joy by donating your vehicle to God’s Garage.
I want to be a part of that joy and join the movement that is helping provide safe and reliable transportation to women in need.
