Who can volunteer?

You don’t need special skills to make a difference. Our volunteers come from all walks of life and bring their unique gifts to serve.

  • Men and women of all ages

  • Singles and couples

  • Ages 18 to 80+

  • All skill levels and backgrounds

What is the Time Commitment?

We understand that everyone’s schedule is different.

Some volunteers serve several days a week, while others come once a week or once a month. We work to match volunteers with roles that fit their availability.

Volunteer Roles & Opportunities

  • A mechanic working under the hood of a car in a garage, using a power tool to repair the engine.

    Garage & Vehicle Repair

    Help restore donated vehicles so they can be safely gifted to women in need.

    These volunteers work alongside our garage team to inspect, repair, and prepare vehicles before they are gifted to families.

    Ways to serve may include:

    - Automotive mechanics and welders

    - Vehicle pickup drivers and helpers

    - Service writing and vehicle intake support

    Events & Programs

    Support the programs and events that serve clients and build community.

    These roles help create meaningful experiences for the women we serve.

    Ways to serve may include:

    - Car gifting event support

    - Restore U seminar setup

    - Special event team

    - Seminar meal preparation

    Office & Administrative Support

    Help keep the ministry organized and running smoothly behind the scenes.

    These roles support the daily operations that allow the ministry to serve more families.

    - Data entry

    - Office coverage

    - Title office assistance

    - Grant writing

    Help maintain the God’s Garage property so it remains a safe and welcoming place for volunteers and clients.

    These volunteers help care for the physical space where the ministry operates.

    Ways to serve may include:

    - Facility maintenance

    - Equipment upkeep

    - Grounds and landscaping care

    Women’s Ministry Roles

    Some volunteer roles involve working closely with applicants and seminar participants and are reserved for women volunteers.

    These volunteers provide guidance, support, and encouragement to women participating in the ministry.

2. Background Check & Orientation

All volunteers complete a background check and receive a brief orientation so they understand the mission, safety practices, and available roles.

3. Start Serving

Once approved, you’ll be connected with a team or role that fits your skills and schedule so you can begin serving alongside other volunteers.
